Gail Green of Brentwood, California, was married Saturday, July 6th, 2013, to Harry Holt of Los Angeles, California, in a ceremony held at St. Paul’s Church in Santa Monica, California. The ceremony was performed by Archbishop James Jameson.

Ms. Green, 26, is employed as an assistant for Culver City Studios in Culver City, California. She works in the studio helping directors. She previously worked at Creative Artists Agency as a staff administrator in Hollywood, California. She graduated from USC in Los Angeles. Ms. Green graduated from Santa Monicas High School in Santa Monica, California. While in college, she won first prize in the animation division for the animated short, “Loose and Loud”.

Mr. Holt, 29, is the lead singer and writer for the alternative indie rock band Ghostriders. He attended  Wesleyan Univerisity in Middletown, Connecticut. Mr. Holt graduated from Hall High School in West Hartford, Connecticut. While in college, he was third runner up, American Idol, 2003.

Ms. Green is the daughter of Ginny Green of Phoenix, Arizona and Gabriel Green of Phoenix, Arizona. Ms. Green’s mother is an assistant to the dean of admissions for Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. She was also Chair of Phoenix-area Special Olympics, 2000-2010. Ms. Green’s father is a real estate developer building retirement homes in Phoenix, Arizona. In college, he was football captain at Niagara University in 1988.

Mr. Holt is the son of Harriet Holt and Harold Holt of West Hartford, Connecticut. Mr. Holt’s mother is a manager corporate communications for Aetna Inc. in Hartford, Connecticut. Mr. Holt’s father is retired. In his previous job, he worked as City Manager, city of New Britain, Connecticut.

Ms. Green’s grandfather Maurice Green wrote Casablanca.

It is a first marriage for Ms. Green and a first marriage for Mr. Holt.
